The tropical island of Boracay is part of a group of islands within the center of the archipelago. Both local and foreign tourists flock here to enjoy beautiful sunsets, white sand beaches, as well as of course a lot of water activities.

Boracay Climate

You can easily surmise that the weather has an impact on the number of visitors to Boracay. There are two climate patterns here locally known as the Habagat season, literally southwest wind, and the Amihan season, literally the cooler northeast wind season. Tourists usually come to Boracay during the Amihan season, which runs from September to June, when the climate is amiable for a nice tropical vacation. The Habagat season, which takes over the rest of the year, is usually marked by storms.

What to See and Do in Boracay

The island is marked by a lot of beaches and our sights that reel in visitors. Probably the most famous destination in Boracay is White Beach. White Beach isn't only a beautiful stretch of white sand, it is also a commercial center where all your needs are met. However, other beaches like Balinghai Beach and Puka Beach also have their fair share of visitors each year.
Other than the beach combing, other attractions on the island include a visit to the bat caves and the butterfly garden. Other activities here include scuba diving, boat tours, horse riding, kiteboarding, and skimboarding. You can also hire bikes or scooters when touring the island.
Those interested in scuba diving can contact any of the dive centers on the island. The island boasts of some 30 dive sites to suit diving enthusiasts of all levels. If ever you would like to unwind from all that, a great alternative would be an hour in one of the spas in Boracay.

Boracay's Different Flavors

Since visitors from all over the world come to Boracay each year, local restaurants and bars serve a mix of different cuisine. The D'Mall Plaza houses many of these establishments like Heidiland Deli that showcases European flavors. In front of the plaza is Hey Jude Bar, which is like a bistro that serves great pizza. If you're craving for something Spanish then Ole, which is also in the plaza, is a fine choice. Then there is Bite Club which serves one of the best burgers you will ever taste. Another area where you can find good food is near the boat stations. Cafes, bars, shake stations, and other restaurants there which offer different delectable flavors.
Boracay nights are made alive by a plethora of bars that flaunts live DJs, cocktails, drinking challenges, different thematic ambiences, and extensive arrays of drinks. If you're near the boat stations, you may want to check out Juice, Cocomangas, Nigi Nigi's, and Cocoloco. Top 2. Pagudpud

if you’re looking for a place that can be like Hawaii, Pagudpud is the place to visit. The strong winds and waves can be compared to that of Hawaii which makes this place often visited by surfers. Pagudpud also has long continuous white sands and inviting beach waters for people looking to just swim. Compared to Boracay, this place is more secluded




Top 3.Mactan Island

Top 4. Panglao

Top 5. Camiguin Islands
            


the place has been known to be one of the most beautiful places in the Philippines because it still seems like a paradise. Some people even consider the palce the “Garden of Eden” in the country. Top 7. Honda Bay

Dos Palmas Island Resort and Spa is a private beach resort that is located in Honda Bay, northeast of Puerto Princesa which is the capital of Palawan, Philippines. There are several direct flights from Manila to Puerto Princesa. This beach resort provides air-con bus transportation from the capital to Sta. Lourdes Wharf.
From the wharf, a ferry will bring the guests to the beach resort location. It may take a little while to get there but it is worth the experience as there are beautiful sites along the way. During the trip, the green rice fields, mountains, native houses, coconut trees, charming smiles of the locals and a nice view of the sea can be seen.

As a Beach Bum:  If you have come to worship the sun and frolic in the sand, you have come to the right place.  This is Boracay, minus the crowd.  A 10-minute ride in an out-rigger boat brings you across the Davao Gulf to Samal Island.  There you can surrender to your wet longings – taking a dip in the clear water or exploring the enchanting depths by scuba diving or just snorkeling.  Stretch out on the white sand for that quick tan or flex your muscles by engaging in sailing, water skiing, or windsurfing.

The city is blessed by nature. It is practically typhoon-free, sheltered by the mountain ranges.  Its soil is rich, supporting hundreds of plantations devoted to fruits, vegetables, cutflowers and other commercial crops. 




Top 10. Siargao
                                                     






this place is another surfers dream. The place offers you waves that can curl up to 12 feet high. Aside from the waves, the place also has beaches that still remains unspoiled by urban lifestyle.



Tuason Point: (3 kms. north of General Luna) This is the most well-known surfing area in the Philippines. It also contains the most well known surf site in the country - Cloud 9 (C9). Cloud 9 is a hollow and heavy right hand barrel; for experienced riders only. Within a stone's throw from C9 are three other world-class waves: When the sections line up, Jacking Horse is a long and fun right hander. It is about 200m north of C9. Tuason Left is, on its day, an amazingly hollow and powerful left hander. Experienced surfers only. This wave is about 400m south of C9. Cemetery's is a really fun left hander suitable for all surfers. Head north of GL, find the cemetery and paddle out.
